I had a dream last night that Paul and I were walking through a desert.

"The Box" shows this city and this weird shadow comes out and turns into a girl with these weird clothes on. Everything around her moves really fast while she moves with this slow twitchy motion I can only compare to the girl from the ring. She stares into this pond and sees this metal object with a prosthetic leg attached to it, swinging back and forth. She wanders around the city, and stares at everyone and everything. At one point, she goes in an alley and sees a vine crawling through the cracks between bricks. Later on she goes to this place with a bunch of TVs. One of them says "Remember Earth Dearly" for a fraction of a second. Another flashes random words really quick, and then one says "Monster's Exist," and she gets this sad look on her face. Then she walks away and fades out.

The end.

Really strange.

I've been thinking about stories from "Haunted" all night. And watching that music video "The Box."

I'm guessing my dreams are going to be pretty weird.

Books are always more interesting when they're spiced with random facts.

We don't destroy our problems with "progress." We only rearrange them. 2000 years ago, the problems were of simply of survival. Slowly the problems were pushed into the subconscious, where they're less noticed, but just as bad. We may have food, shelter, and medicine, but we're pedophiles, fear-driven, cutters, bigots, and hypocrites. As a society, we are fucking nuts. Whenever we come across a problem, we pop a pill. We clash over matters we don't care about just to convince ourselves we do. We're a sick culture. We're going to snap some day.
